And when he was gone forth into the way, a certain man running up and kneeling before him, asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may receive life everlasting?
And Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? None is good but one, that is God.
Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, bear not false witness, do no fraud, honour thy father and mother.
But he answering, said to him: Master, all these things I have observed from my youth.
And Jesus looking on him, loved him, and said to him: One thing is wanting unto thee: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.
Who being struck sad at that saying, went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
And Jesus looking round about, saith to his disciples: How hardly shall they that have riches, enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus again answering, saith to them: Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God?
It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Mark 10: 17-25
So many of our modern perceptions of famous people assume that they are good in their intentions and gifted in intellect , so long as their image is presented through various forms of media as such.
People's gullibility when it comes to these characters is actually embarrassing. The air of invincibility, of perfection, of stainless moral characters. They are rarely any of those things. What they normally are instead, is a deer in the headlights, easily dismayed and led astray by money and affection and anything that will maintain the illusion of their apparent achievements.
Spending three minutes in a recording studio singing a song written by someone else is no great achievement. It could be if there was sufficient quality. But more often than not, there is none.
So, lacking accomplishment and fulfilment , they seek their happiness in other things. Such as drugs, alcohol, rampant spending and any other form of self-indulgence. It is therefore unlikely that they would ever read the above Bible passage and decide to abandon all that they own, take up their cross and follow Our Lord, they are simply too attached to material things to do so.
For the many raised in Catholicism, it is far too easy to abandon or downplay their faith rather than profess it before 'open-minded' liberals in the entertainment industry. The same kind who sign petitions to get Roman Polanski kept away from receiving punishment for being a rapist and the same kind who fawn over celebrity President Obama's masquerade whilst ignoring his many faults and crimes.
What's he wearing? Surely not brainwashing kids that's for sure!
One such example is the head meltingly inane case of Ariana Grande. There are men and women who become irate with the concept of God itself, are driven mad by their opposition to it yet kept within some realm of sanity by their focused opposition to a supposed non-existent entity by which they can direct their frustrations and anger. Modern man does not believe in God, but blames Him anyways.
That is one type of atheist, the type who sits up all night reading Nietzsche, however there is another more irrational form of atheism or irreligious status, to be found in those who have become as Paul VI said 'drugged' by the world into slothful idiocy. Ariana Grande has become one such figure of self-indulgent anti-intellectual deicide. The young pop singer, a conveyor belt production of Disney, has become popular in recent months for her radio friendly Mariah Carey-esque voice. Her essential gimmick is that she's a good girl at heart but- ! - wait for it! - she has gone bad now and not only will she not clean her room but she'll dress how she wants too ( :O ). Besides this ground-breaking angle for her music, the singer has also taken up the mantle of responsibility for the dual role of crypto-Masonic imagery and hysterical anti-Catholic homosexual public representation officer.
After being raised Catholic she decided to ditch her apparent faith because her brother was a homosexual. Now, I can understand the trials people go through in such a scenario. But sin is sin, regardless of whether or not it is committed by a minority of 1% of the population who tend to section themselves off from the rest of society and abandon all other aspects of their personality and identify with that aspect only. There are many people who sin and if they are Catholic, accept that it is wrong and do not accept the Church to change teaching to suit one individual, as truth is not determined by a majority vote. Or even, if they cannot accept it, they shuffle off from the faith and say that they simply have no interest. They no longer believe to any great extent, but they accept within themselves that there is some higher intellectual and spiritual reason for teachings of the faith and for the faith itself.
Ariana Grande has no such integrity. Either spiritually or intellectually. She speaks lies to her many young followers regarding Church teaching, speaking bluntly and falsely with the most outrageously inaccurate and, if mortal souls were not in peril, absolutely hilarious reasons for abandoning Catholicism. Not that she obviously ever had a notion to begin with, but still.
Not Masonic at all
Grande's reasons stem, publicly at least, from her brother's homosexuality. Now of course, homosexuality has become a religion unto itself in the last days of the United States of America just as it did in a lot of other crumbling civilisations. However, even the most ardent of homosexuality advocates will find it difficult to provide proof of genuine reasons for grievance with the Catholic Church without distorting or inventing apparent facts. Take for example the statement in the Catechism that they must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition. God loves absolutely everyone, it is a fundamental basis of Catholic teaching. Distraught that she had no actual reason to find fault this truth however, Grande decided not to take issue with the oft-disputed concept of intrinsic disorder, she instead simply invented a scenario. The power play of liberals, pretend someone that you do not like or understand did something bad to you, lie about it as if it were real and then tell the world.
'When my brother was told that God didn't love him I was like, "OK, that's not cool."
Your brother was never told by the Church that he was not loved by God. You invented that to make yourself feel better. Now fair enough, at least we're dealing with a heavy subject matter, even if she was incredibly wrong. But this is where her supposed fall away from her faith descends into comedy.
The church said Spongebob Squarepants is gay and he’s a sinner and he should burn in hell. And Harry Potter was a sin.
The Spongebob thing... just like..?!? And the Harry Potter aspect, well is referring to Pope Benedict's expression of concern regarding the misleading distinction in those novels that there is magic of a nature both good and bad when in actuality anything concerning magic or the occult is dangerous to one's soul. Reading it is not a sin. But whatever you read on Facebook has gotta be true Ariana!
But she's on a roll. She adds that working women is a sin now too. I can't even rationalise that one, you're just talking out your backside I'm afraid Ariana. There are no restrictions on women working, especially an unmarried and childless one such as yourself.
But, she plays her hand too early when she says that she told the Holy Catholic Faith, Get out my house!’ I was not having it. And the working woman thing? It was a moment for me. I needed something else to believe in. Sorry, you what?
I needed something else to believe in.
Oh, dang, that man in the video was brainwashing after all.
Just like her lies about ridiculously untrue positions from the Church on Spongebob (again...just like ?!?) Ariana was willing to tell herself anything not to have to think about the implications of being a self-absorbed multi-millionaire or potential complications regarding her brother's sexuality. What makes these comments seem even more sinister is that they reek of a party line, of Hollywood propaganda. She has not a breeze of what she is talking about, her comments are literally the dumbest and most nonsensical things that I have ever read on the topic of religion. Even so, the fact that she felt an obligation to share her thoughts on a subject that she was obviously extremely inept at talking about begs the question of why she would put herself out in the spotlight like that.
Victim of homophobia? PS Um, what's that?
The most obvious answer, is that she has become a careerist who has turned her back on God and on the Church that feeds, heals and loves more sick and poor each day than all the Bob Geldofs and Bonos will in a lifetime. It is bad business to be a faithful Catholic in the entertainment industry, simply ask Mel Gibson.
Grande's worship of herself has led her to embrace Kabballah. Why? Because it is true? Hardly. Because it is good for other people? Pfft! ...um, to help her career? Bingo! She even says so herself. It teaches if you do good things, good things will happen to you. What a shallow, selfish reason for anything. You do good things in life according to the Catholic Church, without accepting any good back in return. In fact the worse that you are treated, the better you should become. That is far superior than her occult indulgence.
The most famous devotee of celebrity Kabbalah is of course Madonna, who had a similar story of falling away from poorly formed Catholicism before devoting her spare time to opposing imagined aspects of it that she could disagree with. The very same Madonna who said, ‘I think it is important to study all the holy books. ‘As my friend Yaman always tells me, a good Muslim is a good Jew, and a good Jew is a good Christian, and so forth. I couldn’t agree more. To some people this is a very daring thought.’ It is not in the least bit daring, it is simply false. Jews don't believe in Christ, Muslims think He was a prophet who was hid by God so that they would crucify someone else instead and Christians believe that He was God.
With the onslaught of occult symbolism in modern music as well as the general disappearance of any artistic quality in said music, the question must be asked if performers like Ms. Grande are changing their religion in order to further there career or instead, because they have been coerced into doing so. Does Katy Perry really love Egyptian symbolism and dressing up like a Satanist at the Grammys? Does Miley Cyrus really enjoy looking like an extra from A Clockwork Orange? By the same token, does Ariana Grande enjoy making public statements designed to turn children against the Catholic Church whilst embracing the sad occultism of Kabbalah? Others who have tried it, such as Britney Spears and Paris Hilton found that its useless mantras and insipid emptiness shone through when they faced their greatest trials. Likewise, Katie Holmes found the same about Scientology before returning to Catholicism.
Ariana Grande will eventually go through some great trial in her life. And when she does, and when Kabbalah abandons her in that time, the Catholic Church will be where it always is, welcoming sinners back into her open outstretched arms, not caring for guilt or for punishment, only love. Perhaps then, she will realise how empty her lies about the Church were, and how treacherous were the Freemasons and Occultists who traded her soul for a few forgettable three minute pop songs. Just like the young rich man with Our Lord. For if there is one phrase of Our Lord that maintains its effect with all people in all situations it is the question of what profit is it to a man if he shall gain the world but lose his own soul? Ariana Grande told lies about Pope Benedict, about the Catholic Church and about Our Lord. It will not be worth it.
And so it seems certain to me that the Church is facing very hard times. The real crisis has scarcely begun. We will have to count on terrific upheavals. But I am equally certain about what will remain at the end: not the Church of the political cult, which is dead already, but the Church of faith. She may well no longer be the dominant social power to the extent that she was until recently; but she will enjoy a fresh blossoming and be seen as man's home, where he will find life and hope beyond death.
